Lasang Pinoy Sundays : Calamansi
Have you ever had any difficulty in cutting through the thick rind of calamansi? I have.
For some reason, my chef’s knives can’t seem to go through a calamansi with ease. I’ve tried sharpening them countless times but they still won’t do the job properly. I’ve also managed to nick my fingers on several occasions after my knife would slip while trying to cut the calamansi.
So I decided to try using a serrated bread knife…lo and behold, it cut through the calamansi like a hot knife through butter.
